Audio Analogue  - stylish design, exceptionally musical.

Cambridge Audio - great value for money, esp. the CD players.

NAD M series - the M5 is one of the best transports I've heard and an excellent SACD player. Not cheap as a transport though and don't buy it for the CD sound.
